DLA Piper has strengthened its office in Johannesburg, South Africa with the appointment of two directors. Hendré Human joins the Corporate team from Webber Wentzel in Johannesburg, where he was a partner. Monique Jefferson joins the Employment team from Bowmans in Johannesburg, where she was a senior associate.
Hendré Human specializes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and general corporate and commercial law. Hendré graduated from the University of Stellenbosch and was admitted as an attorney in 2009. In 2015 he was made partner in the Corporate practice at Webber Wentzel.
Monique Jefferson specializes in employment law and data protection law in the workplace. She graduated from the universities of Witwatersrand and Rhodes, and was admitted as an attorney in 2011. She was made senior associate in the Employment practice at Bowmans in 2013.
