International law firm DAC Beachcroft LLP is pleased to announce two new partners

International law firm DAC Beachcroft LLP is pleased to announce two new partners: Shahjahan Ali as head of its Immigration team, and Ann Isaacs, who is promoted to partner to head up its Agricultural and Highway Claims teams. Shahjahan joins Ann in DAC Beachcroft’s Bristol office.

Shahjahan joins from Pathfynder Solicitors, a niche immigration firm that he founded in 2016. In his time there, Shahjahan has built up a client base including ultra-high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, senior executives and businesses spanning a range of sectors (including fashion, software development and marketing). He will be looking to develop DAC Beachcroft’s Immigration offering.

Ann first joined DAC Beachcroft as part of the transfer of Morgan Cole’s Bristol office in 2014, and has built a portfolio of clients. Specialising in high value property claims, Ann deals with a diverse range of claims for the farming and motor industry. She has a particular interest in cases involving animals and has been involved in numerous equine and livestock cases. Her key focus will be in developing DAC Beachcroft’s Agricultural offering.

Alex Lock, Head of the Employment practice, commented on Shahjahan Ali’s appointment: “This is a key strategic hire for the Employment & Pensions Group at DAC Beachcroft. The immigration landscape is likely to see significant changes in the next few years, and we anticipate that an immigration lawyer of Shahjahan’s stature will be of great value to our clients.”

Craig Dickson, Chief Executive Officer of DAC Beachcroft’s Claims Solutions business, commented: “Congratulations to Ann, whose promotion to partner is well deserved. Our Claims Solutions business goes from strength to strength, as evidenced by some high profile re-appointments such as our extended remit on the NFU Mutual panel last month. Ann will play a key role in providing specialist property insurance claims solutions to the rural insurer, and others.”
